Change the world through Compassion Education™ and outreach, intercepting the cycle of violence, thereby reaching peace on earth for all God’s creatures.
The Healing Species three-fold mission is to “Change the World” through:
- Our proven-effective and evidence-based, 1st in the nation Compassion Education™ curriculum incorporating rescued dogs to help teach youth and others how to get help if in abuse and how to overcome hate
- Our Compassion Animal Rescue Outreach and Services
- Advocacy for modern science without the use of animals in research labs
Our Vision: We see a world of compassion where every living creature is valued and protected, especially the most voiceless, children and animals.

- We believe that every living creature has value

- We believe compassion and hard work are catalysts for success and overcoming obstacles
Violence Intervention
- We believe all children must be safe and loved
- We believe the cycle of violence can be intercepted
- We believe children and adults can be taught how to “rise above” “hate-for-hate”, violence and poverty
Healing
- We believe healing comes through getting help, learning how to grieve, giving and receiving love, forgiving, and rising above the actions of others
- We believe that God heals hearts and souls. We are only the ambassadors who deliver a message of hope, love, peace, and a higher calling for our lives
Empowerment
- We believe real power is gained through leading with acts of kindness and responsible choices-not bullying-, thereby creating a better future for themselves, the community, and the world
